Committees
There are currently three permanent
committees and any number of working committees as required. Working
Committees are assembled to deal with specific issues and only exist
long enough to fulfill their charter.
Working Committee - Annual Practice
Survey
This group is being assembled to determine the questions and format
to be asked on the Green Data Center Alliance first Annual Practice
Survey. The intent is to create a survey which collects information
about energy usage and related technologies within the data center.
The hope is to provide the industry with a source of data which can
be used as a baseline.
Working Committee - Green Data Center
Standard & Certification
This group is being assembled to determine the individual
requirements and maturity levels for a comprehensive standard for
green data centers. This standard will contain individual green
practices at increasing levels of maturity present in a green data
center. It is our intent to model the standard after the Malcolm
Baldridge National Quality Award. Once completed, the standard will
be made freely available to the community.
